If you love modern art, this gallery deserves a visit, at least to meet Junior Rodriguez, very talented costarican artist.
Originaly a passionated surfer, he transcribes his feeling on his board, on a canevas. His way to express his cool vibe and his feeling of freedom while riding waves.
He hosts very fun art classes for adults, while drinking wine and painting on canvas.
The Gallery is located in Pacific park, 1st floor.

GUAITIL Pottery Studio
Taller El Espiritus del Barro Chorotega (or The spirit of the Burros of Chorotega) is the potter of Tamarindo!
You will find his potteries every where in town. His style is unique.
Learn from Arbin Espinoza, artesan and a Chorotega descendant from Guaitil, to design and build your master piece.
In the back of the store, there is workshop where he will teach you the traditional pottery methods of the Chorotega. One of my favorire activities!
The store is located by la Rotonda, next to Pacifico.

THE BOOK STORE of the waves
Founded in 2002, The Bookstore of the Waves is Tamarindo's oldest bookstore.
They have a large selection of new & used books in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Dutch and many other languages, as well as non-fiction. I found my favorite book in french in this store!
They also carry maps, postcards and stamps; delivery of mail to Correos is provided. Donations to Cepia are also accepted at The Bookstore.

ART GALLERY MALU MOREIRA
Malu Moreina is a Brazilian artist that just builded her gallery in the heart of Tamarindo. Two floors of art :)
A super feminine art with beautiful waves, clearly inspired by the colors of the ocean.
She worked as a fashion designer, so you will find clothes as well with her paintings.
