PICO BISTRO

This bistro is a very popular restaurant appreciated by digital nomads of Tamarindo as they offered a conveniant area to work on computer and a very good wifi. What I prefer the most is the music! And of course their large choice of breakfasts (nordic, american, vegan, etc). The service is amazing, and the spot is perfect all day, protected from the sun and the wind. 

Pico is the name of the surf break just in front of the terrasse, that will give you a direct sight on the surfeurs. There is as well an outdoor shower in the garden you can use after a dip in the ocean!

CAFE TICO

Cafe Tico is located a little behind the street that leads to Langosta, in front of the book store. The location doesn't look that great at first, but you easily forget that details sitting at the cute table. You will like the Chai Late and the french toasts. 

Music live sometimes is played in the morning.

Cafe Tico is also a gift shop, they offer a selection of gourmet coffee from small coffee farmers, honeys, jams and hot sauce made in Costa Rica.

BREAKING BREAD 

Best breakfasts in town! If you try once, we'll go back to try everything!

The fresh baked bread and food is the best tasting we have had. They make everything in house.

Breaking Bread has vegan and vegetarian options, but the specialty is Los Huevos Rancheros, banana cake, chocolate croissants, and of course amazing breads.

WAFFLES MONKEY

If you want to try something new for your breakfast, you should try the waffles Monkey! The terrasse is settled right on the beach, in the shade, with a nice view on Tamarindo bay. 

If you are lucky, you might see a bunch of monkeys that use to rest in the tree in the back yard.

It's just yummy! And they are flexible to take off or add on toppings.

SANTA RITA COFFEE

You might miss that place as it's located across the street at the second floor above a souvenirs shop. But you won't miss it's great atmosphere, very cosy and fancy. 

A real coffee place where you want to stay during very hot or rainy days.

Pitahaya, piña, banana, almond milk, honey

Toppings: chía, linaza, granola, almendras, uvas..

SOL BAKERY

This bakery is pretty new in town. But already very famous! Everything is amazing, you will go and come back. 

The place is fancy and very cosy. Many people are going there to work as there is a very nice breeze when it's very warm.

Prices are high but it worth it. They propose brunch as well :)
