I like to go there to find very local products, all kind of spices, cheeses and chocolate.

This greengrocer is THE place where restaurants and chefs are buying their supplies. It's not in Tamarindo, It's in Villareal (4km away).
I used to buy schrimps as they have a freezer dedicated to seafood. Reasonnable prices and large choice.

Located at the entrance of the town, in front of the pharmacy, oposite side of the beach.
Only very basic stuff, potatoes, tomatoes, oignons, water melon and other local products. If you don't have a car, it can be usefull.
