El Mercadito is not only food court, it's a concept!
It looks like a tropical greenhouse, very well organized and meticulously maintained.
Every time I go there, there are new decoration, different staging with horses and costarican culture elements added here and there. You will notice the boat settled as a bar in the middle of the place.
Regarding the food, there are for all tastes: Japanese food, burgers, Vegan poke, Italian food, and for the deserts, ice cream and waffle, crepes,...

This place is ideal for families. A lovely space dedicated for kids, in the middle, allows you to eat while having a close look on your brood. The location is hidden right off the beach, next to El Chiringuito.
The place is rarely crowded, and some perls of world cuisine, like the Thai truck (Pad Thai) or the caraibian food truck deserve a detour.

WILD PANDA Food court
Wild Panda is very central, located on the secondary street of Tama. They have a nice TV to watch sports games, that you can watch from the bar. That a nice spot to hang out at during a rainy period.
Many locals agree that they make the best ceviche of the town!
You will appreciate the very affordable prices and the quantities.

PLAZA VIA CONDOTTI
Plaza is located behind Chiquita’s. A hidden gem in downtown Tamarindo. Beautiful courtyard area with live music! Lots of food options to choose from.
My favorite restaurant is Lobster and Co, they are the only one in town to propose fresh sandwich Gourmet lobster. The cook is a French chef, private cook. You won't be disappointed!
Others shops there are interesting, jewelries, vape store and clothes.
