La Pachanga is a real Italian restaurant where you are sure to eat perfectly home made pastas! If it's not your style to order pastas, you will fall for the raviolis, the lobster raviolis are my favorite, with a fresh glass of wine wine :)
You will be impressed by their "Specials Board", that just reading it, will make you mouth water. The woody outdoor patio is welcoming and intimate.
It is located right in front of the Banco Nacional.

La Baula proposes delicious wood fired pizza in a cosy and very pleasant atmosphere. It's easy, fast and fresh!
The pizza crust is just perfect, you have to like them thin and crunchy.
There is an area dedicated to kids, with a house, and many toys.
The menu has reasonable prices and the always equal in quality.

EL SAPO
El Sapo is an Italian restaurant that proposes amazing traditional pizza. The owner, Giovanni is a pizza master!! He is a passionate man for sure. You will appreciate the kindness of the staff and their communicative good mood.
They have a great choice of Italian wine and excellent home made pesto.
The restaurant is located in Langosta in a very quiet area. So you will have a little drive you are coming from Tamarindo. They deliver too!

WALTER'S FISH AND CHEESES
Walter's F&C is not only an authentic Italian restaurant, it's as well a gourmet store that proposes the best home made mozzarella and delicatessen of the town!
For cheese lovers, you will find Gorgonzola, Feta, Ricotta, Burrata, chedar, parmesan and many more!
Try their Lasagnes and pastas. A great wine selection as well.

EL SANTUARIO
El Santuario is an Italian restaurant, recently opened, so you won't find many reviews. But it is just excellent! The menu covers all the Italian specialities, Antipasti, pastas, grill, seafood and pizzas.
The grill is a huge outdoor barbecue managed by a dedicated cook, the portions are generous, in coherence with the prices.
All the vegetables, fish and meat were cooked perfectly!! The service as well was impeccable, and the waitress attentive and knowledgeable.
